Design Contest entries have been collected from 7 local schools and voting for the comunity's top picks will begin Oct. 20, 2011. Be sure to cast your vote here at MyGVR.org through Nov. 3. (One vote per person per day.)
HOW ARE WINNERS DETERMINED?
Online voting of your school’s top 10 entries will be posted online at MyGVR.org for voting by the community from Oct. 20- Nov. 3, 2011. Anyone who registers with an email address at MyGVR.org can vote once daily. The 10 entries receiving the most online votes will enter the final round and two winners will be determined by the CAB Events Committee, one from ECE-5th grade and one from 6-12th grade. Entries will be judged on theme, use of color, neatness, and overall appearance. Only bold, colorful, and complete designs with legible and correct spelling will be considered.
WHEN WILL THE WINNER BE ANNOUNCED?
The week of Nov.7, 2011 through their respective school. * Winners and a school representative are invited to receive awards at the Gobble Wobble 5K Run/ Walk on November 19, 2011 at 10:30 am. *
WHAT DOES THE WINNER RECEIVE?
The winning students will receive a $50 gift certificate, a race day Tech-shirt, and the student’s school will receive $200 for its art program from the Green Valley Ranch Foundation. The drawing will be placed on the front of the race T-Shirt, (6 – 12th grade): backside of the race T-shirt (ECE – 5th grade), in the race day program, and in the next edition of the GVR Voice and the Far Northeast Reporter, helping to advertise the event.
