PRESS RELEASE

Former Denver Bronco comes back to Denver to plant a church in Northeast Denver on January 8, 2012.

Former Denver Bronco running back and author, KaRon Coleman followed God’s calling to leave his home in Missouri City, Texas to come back out to the Front Range to plant a church. Pastor Coleman’s years of pastoral obedience has culminated into the planting of Northeast Fellowship Church, 1600 E. Maxwell Pl, Denver, CO 80239. The church will host their Grand Opening at Archuleta Elementary School on January 8, 2012. Services begin at 10:30am. After doing extensive research Pastor Coleman found that Denver was an “under-churched” city. Statistics show that only 8% of Denver resident’s are connected to an evangelical church. In response to this statistic Pastor Coleman says, “Everyone deserves to hear about God’s love”. Pastor Coleman’s planting Northeast Fellowship Church is just the beginning of the wonderful blessings he experiences as a “Man of the Word” and intends to share with Northeast Denver’s evangelical community.

Northeast Fellowship Church is an exciting, spiritually enriched and diverse church whose authenticity and informality offer people a place to cultivate their relationship with God, regardless of where they are in their journey! Pastor Coleman has uniquely positioned the newly formed church to meet two of Northeast Denver’s biggest needs: Education and Competitive Sports. He developed an organization called the Agape Network which is a collection of faith-based initiatives that collaborate with other organizations in an effort to mobilize programs and make it easier for community residents to access services available to them.

Denver native Narcy Jackson says, “Your type of church is much needed and long overdue in this community.”

Northeast Fellowship Church grand opening is January 8, 2012. For more information about Northeast Fellowship Church or its community initiatives phone the church at: (720) 290-3636 or visit their website at www.northeastfellowship.org.
