The East Corridor is a 22.8-mile commuter rail transit corridor between Denver Union Station and Denver International Airport (DIA). The East Corridor serves as a connection between these two important areas and travels through the adjacent employment, neighborhoods, and new development areas.

The East Corridor began the Environmental Impact Statement for this project in July 2003 in conjunction with CDOT studying improvements to I-70 East. In mid 2006, the project separated into the transit portion and the highway portion.
The project team has now completed the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the East Corridor. The FEIS culminates a comprehensive six-year screening, analysis and extensive public involvement process.

Final Design is scheduled to begin in 2010, and construction is scheduled to begin 2011 with opening day on the East Corridor scheduled for 2015.
Public involvement is crucial to the East Corridor. We encourage you to  learn about the project, and we welcome your comments and feedback.  To review the East Corridor FEIS, go to http://www.eastcorridor.com/reports.html.
