Denver Clean Up Project With Michael Hancock

PLEASE JOIN COUNCILMAN HANCOCK THIS SATURDAY FOR A NORTHEAST DENVER CLEAN-UP PROJECT

 

Please join City Councilman Michael Hancock and the Colorado Department of Transportation this Saturday for a northeast Denver neighborhood clean-up project at either the Peoria Street or Quebec Street interchange at Interstate 70.

 

Area residents can volunteer to pick up trash. CDOT will also be placing boulders around the interchanges as part of the beautification effort. More than 75 volunteers are expected. Lunch will be provided to volunteers.

 

WHAT:  Neighborhood clean-ups at Peoria and Quebec interchanges just off of I-70.

 

WHEN:  8 to 9 a.m. - Mandatory CDOT safety training session for volunteers

               9 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Clean-up  

 

WHERE:  Staging and training areas will be held simultaneously at the Red Lion Hotel, 4040 Quebec St. and The Timbers Hotel, 4411 Peoria St.
