The Green Valley Ranch Business Relationship Action Group, BRAG is pleased to announce that the 4th Annual Family and Business Expo will be held in June/2011 at Green Valley Ranch Recreation Center from 11:00am to 3:00pm. The date has not been set, but you can call and reserve a space. This year we will be hosting our own GVR’s Great Car Show. Do you own a car you want to show it off? Get your car, truck, whatever has wheels in shape for the Expo. Attendants will vote and you could win a prize of 100.00 and free detailing.

Bring the entire family out for food, music and fun. The information you learn from our many participants and sponsors could save you time and MONEY. You can also find out how to get involved in local efforts to heal and care for our planet and community. Bring your work gloves to participate in a neighborhood clean up at noon. Participants are encouraged to wear their group/club/business T-shirts or hats. Be sure to check out the many booths and displays; receive freebies and enter the drawing for prizes!

With the holidays upon you, there will be plenty of opportunities to over load your plate with food at the next Christmas party, and you will be tempted to eat until you are stuffed.  Of course this is hard to resist since the buffet tables are filled with pies, yummy hors d'oeuvres and of course Christmas ‘spirit’.  Follow these portion control tips to help you stay in control of what you put on your plate during the next party or at home:
