Medical Marijuana Dispensary Update

Effective with the close of business on July 1, 2010, the City of Denver will cease to accept license applications for medical marijuana dispensaries. The reason for this is the State of Colorado is working on a uniform licensing procedure for medical marijuana dispensaries statewide. The City of Denver is also revising its procedures and plans to have a new process in place when the new State licensing procedure becomes effective on July 1, 2011.

The Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) announces the availability of wage subsidy funding for Metro Denver businesses to hire new employees.  The program is made available through the City's allocation of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act workforce development funding.
