We face a challenging time right now with how well the schools in Far Northeast Denver are performing academically, from the elementary to the high school levels. The academic performance and stability of all of our schools are important, but probably none are more important than Montbello High School.
2010-11 DSST GVR Campus - Applications Due January 29, 2010
DSST GVR Campus is excited to announce it will open its Middle School Program with its first class of 6th graders in the summer of 2010 at the brand new E-12 Campus off of Tower Road and Green Valley Ranch Boulevard. DSST GVR is an open enrollment DPS charter school with no admissions requirements. In order for 5th grade students to have the opportunity to enroll in 6th grade at the DSST GVR Campus they must apply for admissions by filling out a simple application to participate in the lottery.

There is a lot happening around education in GVR and in Far Northeast Denver. We recently held elections where new DPS school board members were elected. Representing District 4 and supporting Far Northeast Denver is Dr. Nate Easley. At the November 30th Board of Education meeting Dr. Easley was also named the Boards new President.
